My front brakes literally fell off my van because I ran them into the ground. However, he was a complete gentlemen about it and explained where i had gone wrong without making me feel like an ass. He also called me and kept me up to date on what was going on every step of the way. The best part was that my car was in and out in about 24hrs. Considering my entire front brakes system had needed to be replaced for over a year and i had caused a lot more damage by continuing to drive it, i thought the turn around was outstanding. Our VW would not start as we came out of the antique store. Luckily we were in front of Color Systems. The owner Erick, came out and asked what was our problem. He said he would take a look at it, but it appeared to be an electrical issue. His first goal was to get it off the street, as there was only a 1 hour limit.
When it was determined that he would need some time to investigate, he volunteered to take us to an Enterprise office to get a rental. Over the weekend, Erick was able to figure out the problem, and had our VW back in business. He provided pics on the frayed wire and explained in detail what was needed to correct it. It turned out our oil level was down and he adjusted that as well. So it was unfortunate that our car broke down, but we were fortunate to do it in front of his establishment. Kind of restored our faith in people.
